A Special Issue in the journal Carbohydrate Polymers will be dedicated to the scientific contributions from authors who participated to the 21st International Cyclodextrin Symposium, as well as researchers working with cyclodextrins who did not attend the symposium

The special issue accepts research on cyclodextrins from fundamental studies to applications.

Special issue information:
The purpose of this Virtual Special Issue of the Carbohydrate Polymers journal is to collect scientific contributions from authors who participated to the 21st International Cyclodextrin Symposium, as well as researchers working with cyclodextrins who did not attend the symposium. The event took/will take place from 10th to 14th June, 2024 at Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale, Dunkirk, France.

We welcome submissions of Original Research, Review, Mini Review and Perspective articles, in themes including, but not limited to:
• Cyclodextrin production, chemistry and modelling
• Supramolecules, polymers and self-assembly
• Nanomaterials, hybrid and soft materials
• Biological effects of cyclodextrins
• Therapy and diagnosis
• Nutraceutics and other food and cosmetic applications
• Analytical applications
• Green technologies
• Catalysis
• Energy and sustainable development
• Cyclodextrin for hygiene, pharmaceutical and medical use

Manuscript submission information:
Interested authors can submit their papers at https://www.editorialmanager.com/carbpol/default1.aspx and make sure to select the article type « VSI: Cyclodextrin conference- Research Paper » or « VSI: Cyclodextrin conference- Review Paper while submitting.

The submission portal will be open from mid of June until the current submission deadline of 15-December-2024
